Our Pond Edge Native Seed Mix contains native grasses and wildflowers for a mostly dry pond edge that can see water a few times per year for short durations. Pond edges can be subject to erosion and the deep root systems of native grasses stabilize the soil once established. Native wildflowers add color and foraging for native bees, butterflies and other pollinators during the summer months and into early fall. This mix does contain some annual wildflower species for first year color.

Some things to remember:

This is a mix of native grasses and wildflowers that can take up to 3 growing seasons to fully establish.

This mix performs well when planted in areas that receive at least 6 hours of sunlight a day and when planted in drier pond edge areas. If your pond edge stays wet most of the time, these Wet Soil Seed Mixes may be better suited for your area
