Want to create a native landscape that has a little bit of everything? Our Mixed Height Native Grass and Wildflower Seed Mix was designed to create a diverse mix of native cool and warm season grasses and perennial wildflowers that attract all different kinds of wildlife like birds, bees, butterflies and more. Finished heights on this mix will range from 3 to 8 feet tall and this mix will need to be planted in areas that receive at least 6 hours of sunlight a day.

Some things to remember:

This mix of native grasses and wildflowers will take up to 3 growing seasons to fully establish. We've added Partridge Pea to the mix for first year color and foraging for pollinators.

This is the ultimate native seed mix if you're looking to attract wildlife. Common and Butterfly Milkweed will attract the Monarch Butterfly. Cup Plant and Prairie Dock are loved by songbirds and all the wildflower species will attract pollinators.

Keep this standing tall all fall and winter long as habitat. Native bees will winter in the hollow stems and birds will continue to eat off the seed heads. Cut it back in the spring when it starts to green up.
