We get a lot of questions about if native plants are deer resistant. The short answer is no. No plant is ever completely deer resistant. However, there are some plants that are more palatable to them then others. That's where our Deer Resistant Native Seed Mix comes in. If you live in an area with a dense deer population, this one is for you! This mix of native grasses and wildflowers are not on the deer's list of preferred snacks. If there is a healthy food supply around, they should have minimal impact on your seeding.

Keep in mind, that if the right conditions are met, deer will eat almost anything. With that said, they don't seem to be as attracted to native landscapes grown from seed. Put plants in the ground and it's like an instant smorgasbord, but the slow and constant growth of the same plants from seed do not trigger the deer to feast. So, create your pollinator and song bird haven and let the deer dine elsewhere.
